WestEd, a nonprofit education research and development organization, is currently seeking middle school science teachers to participate in the upcoming February, 2023 PocketLab Pilot Study. Participating teachers will be randomized into the PocketLab group or the control group. PocketLab teachers will be asked to use PocketLab Voyager sensors and the online tool, PocketLab Notebook, with their students to complete classroom activities focused on concepts of gravity, energy, and waves. Control group teachers will be asked to teach these topics as they normally do and will have the option to use PocketLab with their students at the conclusion of the study.

As a thank you for your time and efforts, participating teachers will receive up to $800. All teachers will also receive a one-year license for PocketLab Notebook ($150 value), and a PocketLab Voyager ($198 value) or PocketLab G-Force sensor ($129 value).
