Griff Jones who presented a webinar for NMLSTA on Crash Science last October will be doing a free Science is Cool conference with Pocket Lab on August 3, 2023. Here is more information from him:
I am presenting two sessions at the conference that are related to my work with the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (iihs.org). We have developed a free educational website on the science of car crashes and vehicle safety for students and teachers of grades 5-12. It's called Crash Science in the Classroom (classroom.iihs.org).
The conference will be live-streamed from the IIHS's Vehicle Research Center in Ruckersville, VA. We will also do a live crash-test for the teachers and have a Q&A with the engineers after the test. I will also do Q&As after my sessions.
