Back to school is almost here, which means so is another year of eCYBERMISSION! If you're new to eCYBERMISSION, you may be thinking, "where do I start?" Here are 3 simple steps to get moving with eCYBERMISSION as soon as registration opens this month!
Team Advisors should register before their students, so even if you're unsure of your student numbers, you can get your registration done as soon as it opens.
After you complete Team Advisor registration, instruct your students to complete their registration. Don't worry about teams yet, as that is completed once each individual student is registered.
Once all students are registered, it's time to put together teams! Only the Team Advisor can create teams and place students on them, and doing so is easy by logging into your Team Advisor account.
eCYBERMISSION is a free, virtual STEM competition for 6-9 grade students. Students form teams of 2-4, led by an adult Team Advisor, and select a problem in their community to investigate with science or solve with engineering. eCYBERMISSION aligns with NGSS, CC, and state science standards and teaching resources are available for free at www.ecybermission.com/AdvisorHelpCenter. Students receive prizes at the state, regional, and national level in the form of Savings Bonds. For more information, visit www.ecybermission.com or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
